It has come to my attention that tomorrow is April Fool's Day.

And as we all know, I work in an environment that's more than a little reminiscent of high school.

With any luck, I'll deck someone and get fired.

I don't really mind it - some of it is pointless, some of it stupid - most of it isn't very funny. But just occasionally I've seen something quite amusing. Er, I can't think of an example right now though. Hmmm.

Given that 10% of the university staff will soon be redundant there's not much humour here right now... well, maybe in desperation!
