More shopping goodness

inulroI appear to have finally beat this flu thing. I hope.
Anyway, went out at lunch today to spend my Virgin gift certificates. Got David Bowie "Heathen" and "Young Americans" (Because YA was £7 and I only have it on very ancient tape), and The Ramones "Hey Ho, Let's Go: Anthology". I would have bought Joey's solo album but it was seriously expensive.
I took some time trying to work out which Ramones compilation to buy - the cheaper one had three CDs but rather a lot of duplications so the more expensive one (a 2 CD set) actually had more songs - I got that one. Most of the back catalogue appears to have been released on CD, but really, how many Ramones albums does one need?
The Ramones CD barely won out over a Death in Vegas album. I am officially old, sad and buying music for nostalgia value. (Well, from Virgin I do as little of the new music I listen to is stocked at Virgin).
