Just watched Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.
Normally I have a low to zero tolerance for all things nautical[1], but one of the Patrick O'Brien books was "Book at Bedtime" on radio 4 a while ago, and it was surprisingly quite good, so I put the film on my list.
Despite the fact that approximately 97% of the film takes place on the ship, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Russell Crowe wearing Nice Boots and frilly shirts didn't hurt. *cough*
[1] pirates excepted
Once again, I'm sure there was something else, but can't remember.
