My shoulders & face, that is. I haven't had sunburn this bad in more years than I can count.

Just got back from Dorset. It was marvellous and I'll write it up later, and if Jason's put some pictures up I can link (we saw some truly awesome stuff).

I only forgot one thing. Sunblock. I didn't so much forget as for some reason think I wouldn't need it. Couldn't buy any this morning, and wasn't about to cancel all the stuff I wanted to do because of it.

Ow! and I'm going to go fall over now.

You always need sunblock this time of year - even when it's overcast or cloudy. I even managed to get sunburnt in the rain last Monday :/

I know that, but my brain took one of its frequent vacations.

I think it's because the whole thing was done on the spur of the moment, and it was such a short break, that I didn't have time to obsess over what to take with me.

Yes - my brain did one of those Monday morning. I'd spend the whole festival (http://www.livejournal.com/users/gothwin/67852.html) wearing a sunhat and sunblock that I totally forgot I'd get sunburn in the morning taking my tent down (evening if it was raining most of the time) - was very red and sore when i got home :/
