The Square Root of Bugger All
Apr. 15th, 2002 03:40 pmIs precisely what I accomplished during my week off.
Which is interesting, as I always blame my inability to actually acomplish anything worthwhile on having to spend my three or so coherent hours per day at work.
No work this week and managed to be about as productive all week as I usually am at the weekend - did some rather mundane stuff about the house, read not nearly as much as I intended, fed and watered the zoo, put rabbits outside on nice days. I reserved our hotel room for Convergence and baked pumpkin cookies, which really is a poor list of achievements for a five day period.
Completely failed to photograph and put up on ebay all the stuff I really need to sell if I want any spending money at Convergence, or to work on fixing my sewing machine, email any of the people I owe emails, move the furniture in my computer room or any of the dozens of things that need doing on the house.
So instead of blaming the fact I never do anything on work, I need to accept that I'm just terminally lazy and incapable of doing anything other than read, watch TV and write inane drivel on newsgroups.
