I bought Chrismtas decorations in Sainsburys today.
I am contemplating purchasing a Christmas tree. I've never willingly had a Christmas tree in my life. Which would require another major rearrangement of stuff, as we simply don't have room. Naturally, all the decorations that I covet would look silly on a small tree.[1]
I know I'm depressed - sitting at home on Saturday night and realizing that I am not likely to have an opportunity to do anything fun on a Saturday night in any foreseeable timescale bottomed me out pretty well last night; and winter arthritis is definitely setting in - but Christmas crap? Christmas food cravings I can explain, but tree desire is Bad and Wrong.
Today was brought to us by freezing fog. I love freezing fog, but sadly my joints don't.
[1] History teaches us that inertia will have overcome me by the time it's time to actually purchase one.
