I need to change my phone from contract to pay as you go. Went into the Orange shop today and was told I have to do it over the phone, and it will take a couple weeks to send me a new sim card, and then I have to call to get it activated, and only then can I come in and choose a new phone.

Excuse me? I thought the whole point of having a store is, like, actual customer service.

They don't appear to have customer support on the phone out of hours. You can't do what I need to do online.
