inulroNot too bad a weekend despite the feeling that I'm coming down with Jason's cold as well as the usual feeling that I've been hit by a bus.

girfan's birthday.
Today we dragged ourselves along to the bibliogoth meet up. General consensus is that JG Ballard's The Drowned World is a Very Fine Book Indeed and you should all read it. It takes about two days. Ate too much Belgian waffle and ice cream.[1]
Left the house for social reasons two days in a row - how exciting is that!
[1] Possibly less than wise considering just how depressed I am about getting bigger and not being able to do what any sane person in my position should, ie get more exercise.
