Bunny antics
Mar. 6th, 2007 10:11 pmI took advantage of the lovely weather this afternoon and put the Florence bunny outside.
Someone in the neighbourhood has a new cat. It's a massive black and white long haired thing - very cute.
It just found out that the female domestic rabbit is NOT a prey animal, no matter what nature thinks. It thought that it had Florence backed cornered in her favourite place (which I can't see from my window). Predictably, about three seconds later the cat was on the run. Then it saw me watching and sat down and started cleaning its feet in that "I meant to do that" way that cats have.
Comedy gold.
It spent another little while following Florence around, but I think it learned its lesson.
