Bunny update
Jan. 27th, 2003 12:43 pmWe finally got worried enough about Socks to take him to the vet Friday after work. Turns out he is not sulking, but has some problems with his back teeth so he's been taken in this morning to be knocked out and have them either filed down or removed (I'm not clear which).
I'm really worried about him - he's being done by specialist vets who know all about anaesthetizing bunnies (in the words of my old vet in Manchester "it's only risky for people who don't do it every day"), but there's very little of him left - he was a tiny bunny before he stopped eating.
We pureed his food and added water, spent the weekend trying to syringe feed him, which he got increasingly distressed about. If it had worked I would have put off the op till we could feed him up, but it didn't so we really had no choice.
I was awake all night worrying about it, so I really shouldn't have come to work this morning, but I managed to get up eventually and only showed up half an hour late.
