Oct. 2nd, 2003 08:09 pmWe had a long talk about purchasing a new TV last night, but you'll all be pleased to hear we eventually came to our senses. When smoke is coming out of the back of this one , I will go drop £50 on another crap old one.
I'm not sure when or how we got jointly kidnapped by the Spirits of Good Consumerism. But we're over it now.
[1] yes Mel, it's still going. It loses hold on the colour occasionally and allegedly still makes that noise, but I ceased to hear the noise years ago (Since the incident with the burglar alarm I have chronic tinnitus anyway, so I really don't notice).
