Slightly odd day
Jan. 2nd, 2004 08:29 pmI had to work today, and thought it was Monday all day. I know why - I was sick on Tuesday, don't work on Wednesday and Thursday was a holiday. It was a very weird feeling though.
It was the (not) new boss's first day. So far, he's being very conscientious about not doing anything that might cause me to feel the need to strangle him. He also thought it was Monday.
One of the market stalls outside the Galleries has many stripey over-knee socks on sale at 2 for £5. So now I have red/black and a weird shade of aquamarine/black, as if I need more of said item. I think I'll start wearing them for work.
Because that's a new year's resolution I could get behind - look even less professional at work.
I think I still have a cold which is mostly affecting brain function.
