Feb. 5th, 2004 08:08 pmDue to being a complete idiot, I find myself with two copies of 1602 Part 5. Would anyone like to give the spare a home?
I finally went to see my GP yesterday about my latest eye infection (when I get run down, my defective immune system shows itself by letting opportunistic eye infections in. Annoying, but if that's the worst that happens to me, I'll live.) He gave me the ointment rather than the drops this time because he thinks it's more effective. The only problem is that the ointment makes everything even more blurry than the infection does. And they have to be applied every 3 or 4 hours, so my field of vision has just about cleared when I have to put more in.
At least it's only one eye.
I could have sworn there was something in either the Guardian or the Globe and Mail this morning that I wanted to draw people's attention to, but can't for the life of me work out what it was now. Most of you probably read more news than I do, so this is probably no great loss.
