I just looked on their website to see tour dates - on the plus side, the London gig is on the next bank holiday weekend, so that's a possibility. Not convinced about doing the whole of Gotham though. The only other UK dates being Leeds on Thursday 26th and Manchester on Friday 27th May is not great news.
Scrolled down further to see that they're co-headlining Castle Party in Poland - that obscure festival I threaten to go to every year. And Agonised by Love, that excellent Polish band who played in Leeds last month, are also playing. Last weekend in July. Tempting.
Update: More tempting - I just checked out the website. Attrition, Wolfsheim and the Last Days of Jesus are also playing, and there's a bizarre assortment of Eastern European DJ nights - Russian, Ukranian and Lithuanian.
Anybody want to go to Castle Party? Being neither confident on the driving front nor able to speak Polish makes me less than attractive as a road trip companion here.
Odd thing: there's a link from Castle Party's site to that of a truly nifty-looking festival in Lithuania, of all places. Sadly, it started yesterday. The ticket prices have to be seen to be believed - the full 3-day pass is the equivalent of 13 euros!
