Still struggling. I continue to be so stiff (both muscles and joints) I can only move very slowly. Fewer brain cells firing than usual. Most frustrating.

Today may be Friday, but I have to work tomorrow. At least I get free eggs for the chicken wrangling portion of the day.

One good thing happened with being stuck in the house for 6 days. I had planned to pay someone to fix up my computer room this year, but don't know where I thought the money was coming from. Having now spent considerable time on my comfy chair in that room, I figured out how to remove most of the carpet with a minimum of moving furniture (from my desk, it looks like an impossible job). I just have to be prepared to tackle it in very small pieces and refuse to get overwhelmed again. I can probably paint the walls in stages as well.

Considering how incapacitated I am, I'm surprisingly cheerful. I may not be able to get out much, but I have a big stack of easy-reading library books downstairs, and the book I'm reading for book club at work (I've said it before, my job has weird perks) The Jane Austen Book Club, is very enjoyable too. I was expecting to thoroughly hate it.

If I'm feeling better, I'm contemplating The Skeleton Key at the cinema on cheap night (Tuesday). The films I really want to see right now are Madagascar and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. But on half price night in the school holidays? I think not. So Southern Gothic creepy house stuff wins.
