Argentina was simply amazing, and life-changing and I discovered all kinds of things I'm capable of that I never thought I could do[1]. I'll try to write it up properly over the next few days. I'm going to try to catch up with my Flist, but if there's anything you think I should know, drop me a line!
I'm less jetlagged than when I travel from North America, but I also have managed to get a nasty head cold, and thus my dentist might not complete my root canal this afternoon, which would piss me off greatly. I have had quite enough of the temporary filling. It did not, however, put much of a cramp in my holiday.
Only I could go somewhere sub-tropical and come home with a cold. During take-off from Buenos Aires I thought my head was going to explode, but thankfully landing in Madrid and the flight home from Madrid were OK.
Despite the already empty state of my bank account, I've been doing my best to prop up the Argentinian economy by buying Nice Stuff. They need the money more than I do, and the Nice Stuff was very nice indeed and comparatively cheap. However, this means I have to wrap my head around the concept that I really am temporarily broke. If anyone catches me trying to spend money before Easter, slap me hard!
[1] Most notably - when it's sunny and I'm not depressed, I don't require 2 cups of coffee to get moving in the morning.
