Mixed weekend
Mar. 26th, 2006 04:34 pmI'm Not Well. This is probably the product of all those extra hours I worked last week, which kinda puts a nail in the coffin of the idea of getting another job - if I can't handle working a 7 1/2-8 hour days instead of 7, I'm rather screwed.
I'm broke - don't get paid till Tuesday.
The weather continues to be atrocious. It has not warmed up much, and is dark & rainy.
On a more positive note, I just won myself the digital radio that I've been coveting for ages. It's second hand, but I scored it for more or less exactly half the "new" price, so I'm very happy. There was still 2 hours left on the auction when I had to give up last night & it was nearly up to the maximum price I'd put in so I did not expect to log in this morning & find out I'd won.
More4 showed Vozvrashcheniye (The Return) last night, which I'd failed to catch during its one week at the Watershed. The scenery is beautiful, everything else is bleak. It's very - er - Russian. Worth seeing if you get the chance.
And now, off to clean out the other rabbit hutch.
