I don't know if it's all that exercise I did the previous weekend, but I just spent this weekend sitting around taking painkillers and generally being miserable. I think I'm finally getting real arthritis in my fingers and ankles (instead of all the symptoms but none of the blood markers) as this time some swelling accompanies the pain. I don't have time, and can't afford to take time off work, to see the doctor about it for a while.

It was all made somewhat better when my new glasses came in on Saturday. I have new glasses! That I don't hate! and, more importantly, that mean I can see without dizziness and headaches again.

While I was picking up my glasses I had a good rummage through the Kingswood charity shops and came away with lots of new stuff. Initially I was after one or more of those chunky belts that are trendy at the moment, which I quite like, but can't possibly afford new. Scored one of those, two handbags, a t-shirt and a velvet dress for a grand total of £8.50. Retail therapy without really breaking the "no spending money till I'm out of debt" rule.

I'd forgotten how much fun charity shops are. Must do that more often.

Er - that's it. Even less exciting than usual around here.
