New Year's Eve

So folks, what are the options? I really want to go out and do something, but am somewhat hampered by the fact that I'm a bit poor at the moment and that I won't have time to knock together any fancy dress between now and then (I love fancy dress. But not at 10 days notice when I'm not so well and have to work).

Am willing to travel, but would prefer not to - that tends to involve more recovery time than one paltry day will give me, and am still getting paid by the hour.
