26. Morality Play by Barry Unsworth

This month's Bibliogoths selection, so I won't say anything more about it now. May come back and update later.

27. Access All Areas: a user's guide to the art of urban exploration by Ninjalicious

Pretty much does exactly what it says in the title. I probably wouldn't have bothered if the author wasn't Toronto-based, so his case studies are all from there. I'm too much of a wimp to attempt 90% of what he covers, but taking photographs in abandoned buildings is something I don't spend enough time doing. Definitely interesting.

I recently braved death to explore an unused dam... I don't think I'm cut out for that sort of thing.

I used to love doing that - but there don't seem to be any left in Bristol thanks to the building boom. Even the Parcelforce building in Temple Meads in under guard while the company strips it out, and Westmoreland House is currently being squatted by New Age Travellers (which I support as it happens, it's just a shame I can't clamber around there without asking someone first. It just doesn't feel... right).

Of course it doesn't help that, this being Bristol, stupid morons keep getting themselves killed on-site. Pah! Still, there should be plenty of ruins after Lord Cthulu returns and... oh.
