inulroDespite still not being 100%, yesterday we made it to the Attics & Basements (ie servants' quarters) tour of Dunster Castle. It was completely worth the trip down! It went on for somewhat longer than advertised and was fascinating.
What I didn't realise is that they run these tours when the rest of the castle is closed (season opens next week at Dunster) so we didn't get to see the main bits of the castle that are normally open to the public. Which means, predictably, that now I really need to go back to see the posh bits!
