It wasn't depression, it was...
Aug. 21st, 2003 07:37 pma cold or flu virus. I'm in agony, I feel like shit and missing work tomorrow is not an option. Neither is turning up late. Despite my best efforts to run away after lunch, it was 4:00 by the time I left today.
I'm feeling somewhat guilty for concluding that I won't be able to work with the new boss - he was really nice to me today. Actually, he's always nice, he's just impossible to work with.
UWE's website has been completely redesigned for clearning and no longer has the really helpful stuff about the nursing programme on it, with helpful numbers about who to chat to if you are coming from a non-traditional background. I shall have to wait till our senior nurse gets back on Monday, as she's very involved with nurse training and will know who to put me in touch with.
I'm going back to bed now and hoping I feel slightly more human in the morning.
