Mr. Teeth RIP
My dwarf Russian hamster is no more. He's been a bit quiet the last couple days but he wasn't looking terribly ill until this afternoon, so at least it was quick.
I never expected him to last that long when I brought him home from the shelter - he was rescued from terrible conditions, and we had no idea how old he was or anything about him. He was incredibly clumsy (even as dwarf hamsters go) but was getting better with getting exercise on his wheel and a proper diet. The clumsiness was cute when it didn't involve his best efforts to self-Darwinize.
He was a really sweet little thing - despite the name, he didn't really bite, and I've never met an attention-seeking hamster before.
He will be missed. I don't think we even have any pictures - it's kind of hard to get a picture of something that small and white.
