Woo hoo!

I just got off the phone with my bank. Last week I raided my savings account and I have just given the order to pay off my loan (5 months early, instead of the 6 that I was aiming for, which is not bad).

As soon as the paperwork is processed, I will be debt-free!!!!!

I'm sure I'll get excited just as soon as I'm less exhausted. It was a very long day today.

No more pets at the moment - I'm working a lot and planning to be away for a lot of April and May, if things work out.

This does mean I can start saving for the eventuality of b), though.

Congratulations, that is an accomplishment too many people have trouble making. I remember when MS Money showed my net worth going from red to black and it is a great feeling. Good luck with whatever savings goal you choose next.

I'm having difficulty settling on a savings goal. I'm travelling a lot in the spring, and buying lots of Stuff (TM) at the moment.

I will get responsible with the extra money in the not too distant future, because that's how I'm wired.

Saving to travel sounds like a pretty responsible goal to me.
