That was a good run
Feb. 26th, 2004 11:04 amThe whole working too much schtick has caught up with me. I think I've just put myself back in the being sick/coming back to piles of work routine, which sucks as I had things running quite smoothly.
The timing isn't great, but I've decided to take Monday and Tuesday off and stay in London to do the tourist stuff I never get around to.
I'm thinking of hitting the Museum of London and the British Museum (never been to the former and it was still the 80s when I last saw the latter). Unfortunately I'm not well and museums aren't good for me. Any suggestions for short walks? (I can walk but standing still is difficult). Other stuff I should see? (I read a lot but inevitably forget about the stuff I've made a mental note to see).
Does anybody want to meet up for lunch/dinner, or do stuff?

Today, I'm keeping myself occupied on soundclick.com, a sort of successor to mp3.com. So far I've discovered that Zombina and the Skeletones are indeed quite good, particularly "Nobody likes you when you're dead", and Vampire Division have excellent tunes and truly awful lyrics.

Date: 2004-02-26 03:47 am (UTC)What I really need is to remember to sit down and take breaks frequently, but I'm not too good at that because I get caught up in doing stuff, and pay for it later.
