inulroJust got back from Paris. It was fab, except for one thing, and in case any of you were planning on doing this soon:
THE CATACOMBS ARE CLOSED FOR REPAIRS UNTIL NEXT YEAR.
They closed on 1st November. I'm obviously not the only idiot who wasn't aware - at least a dozen people were outside the entrance looking disappointed when I got there, and more on their way.
I was aware that the safety of the catacombs is pretty nonexistent at the best of times, so am not overly surprised. Just disappointed.
Oh well. That means I'll have to go back!
