Canadian news: Yesterday, Newfoundland became the 8th province to legalise gay marriage.

Alberta aside, what other province is holding out? I'm too lazy to look it up.

In other news, can we re-schedule Christmas for when I feel better?

Thank you. I do read bc's LJ from time to time.

Having visited PEI this year, I'm not surprised.

I'm confused

Last time I knew there were 10 provinces and 3 territories. A Globe & Mail article I found also referred to Newfoundland being the 8th province and that Alberta was taking a stand against, but you offer both NB and PEI. Something doesn't add up. Alberta and which other province?

Oh and seeing NWT and Nunavut as holdouts reminds me of the song I'm the only gay eskimo.

I was similarly confused, but I think that the "8" includes the Yukon, and reporters have been sloppy in saying "provinces" instead of "provinces & 1 territory".
