Stuff to do.
Jan. 6th, 2005 09:13 pmOn a more upbeat note, I need to get a life. I've noticed a couple of events coming up:
Next Saturday (15th), there is something called Zombified going on in Birmingham, featuring the Ghost of Lemora (who I have yet to see) and another band I've not heard of, with an advertised playlist I think I might like. Is anyone I know likely to be there?
(Realistically, the zombie will be me & I won't be able to leave the house, but never mind. In that event, does anyone want to come over & watch DVDs?)
Then on the 22nd there's Inquisition in Cardiff, to which I've never been. (Both Inquisition and Cardiff). May be tempting.
The following weekend is Henry Rollins. Rah!
I had vague ideas about maybe trying to attend Dead & Buried in February as New Days Delay are playing, but that involves getting out of my Saturday morning shift at the shelter. And crashspace.
STOP PRESS
I have just discovered that the Dresden Dolls are headed this way again! Full tour dates here, but it omits:
>Saturday February 19
>DRESDEN DOLLS
>+ support
>Scala, Kings Cross, London
>Doors open: 6.00pm Early finish at 9.30pm
>Admission: 13.50 in advance
>Info: http://www.scala-london.co.uk
It's a Saturday, and thus maybe within the realms of possibility.
