If it was the same guy, he wasn't saying it was built to ward off evil per se, but as a Masonic temple. The funniest bit was when he said that the Ark of the Covanent was placed above a symbol of royal power (the lieutenant governer general's office). I'm pretty sure he meant "a representation of the AotC" but that's not how it sounded. The spot also shared the earth-shattering revelation that when you stand in the centre of a large quiet marbled hall and speak, you hear echoes. The DaVinci Code has a lot to answer for.
