I win the stupid award - again!

What's the stupidest thing I could possibly do if I'm going to London for the weekend when I know I have a very long day ahead on Monday? Yup - forget to bring both the painkillers & the drugs that allow me to sleep. We were 2/3 of the way there when I remembered so there was no turning back.

On the other hand, since Stage 4 sleep was not going to happen anyway, I had nothing to lose by partaking of many yummy cocktails.

Once again, I went to London & spent all my money at the farmers' market & the health food store. Was going to attempt to buy some Buffaloes but allegedly the Camden store has shut & I was in no mood to go to the one in Covent Garden on the day of the Marathon. That, and we took advantage of the lovely weather yesterday to have a barbecue.

I feel less bad today than I should; a bit tired, but not the disconnectedness and complete lack of attention span usually brought on by sleep deprivation. Fortunately I got away with only one hour's overtime. I'm being a little clumsier than usual so am taking no chances & going to lie down now.

I think there's a new farmers market in Bristol now on Sundays.

It's on the first Sunday of the month. The first one was this month and it was quite decent.

I always shop at the one on Wednesdays, but the one at Alexandra Palace is better, plus I don't have to drag heavy stuff home on the bus.
