UK folk may be interested to hear that H&M is selling a wide selection of cute BLACK summer clothes. A good many of them are linen, so not for the ironing-avoidant. I'll still be shopping for more in France (of course the French sell black summer clothes).

Everywhere else in the city centre here has stuff that's nice styles but the colours look like something the iguana threw up (thank you kilireth).

I bought a pair of H&M opaque black tights. They feel OK, so hopefully they'll be wearable and I won't have to endure the rudeness of M&S staff ever again.

I got some of H&M's black linen trousers last year (or the year before?) - cheap without being falling-apart cheap, good length (ie long enough for a reasonably tall female person), generally very wearable. Yay for black summer clothing!
