While taking a shortcut through Waterstones today, I came across The Italian Boy: Murder and Grave-Robbery in 1830s London in paperback. How is it that I was not aware of this book before now? It's about two of my favourite things: dubious provenance of anatomy specimens, and London low-life in the 19th century.

It was in the 3 for 2 selection. Ahem. [livejournal.com profile] wehmuth, I don't need that copy of Iron Council back now.

Despite falling asleep ridiculously early last night, I'm still not 100%. I don't feel bad, but all day I've been craving junk food & the thought of eating anything healthy has been unwelcome. That generally means I'm not right. Any plans I might have made for the weekend have been cancelled in favour of lying around doing nothing.

Just as well as I returned it to P&L.

Iron Council's in 3 for 2? Ta, I've been meaning to pick that up for ages.

That book looks great. What other did you get? (That, Iron Council and...?)

Waterstones will have to wait until payday though, grr!

Something called "the Bitch Goddess Notebooks" which has a great title and even sounds pretty good from the description on the jacket. I'm still wary of stuff with great titles ever since I got bit by deadkidsongs, which really is not one of the better books I've ever read. Thankfully, I borrowed it.
