I've had two excellent weekends in a row. We've eaten out more times in these last two weeks than in the previous six months, and had our fill of miniature Schnauzer love (even if the barking at nothing in the middle of the night might finally have put me off wanting one of my own).

I just checked my bank balance and will be spending the rest of the month locked in my house eating beans on toast. Oh well, it was worth it.

For the first time in, oh, ever, all the mainstream clothes shops are full of things I like. Am seriously considering taking money earmarked for savings and having a spree. It's not as irresponsible as it sounds since I look after my clothes and they last for years.

It has come to my attention that it's possible that the Jerry bunny is afraid of the neighbours' tiny kitten. Oh, the humiliation.

This kitten is not only very tiny, it's very timid, and has yet to make it off the wall into our side of the garden.
