I leave for Argentina in 30 days.

I've not made anything like as much progress as I need to with my Spanish.

It all makes sense when I learn it, what with it being like French & Latin but easier. However, I just don't have time for the repetition that I need to be able to understand the real live thing.

Most of the time it shouldn't be a big deal, but some of my relatives live in a province that isn't even in my guidebook, so something tells me there will be no English speakers there.

Perhaps if you play the tapes while you're sleeping?

You know me & sleep. I'd never get to sleep with the tapes playing.

I walk around listening to the tapes a lot, but what I need to do is sit down and conjugate verbs and stuff like that, and my powers of concentration are not up to it at the moment.
