General Update

Caution: May be boring

Not such a good week. I went splat after work on Monday and again yesterday. Having said that, I definitely did too much on Sunday, and on Wednesday we took advantage of the Orange 2 for 1 cinema tickets and went to see The Constant Gardener, which was superb, if unremittingly grim. I'm not sleeping right as I appear to have hurt my neck, I can only assume by sleeping in the wrong position in the first place.

Silly things that cheer me up: In an otherwise depressing episode of Cold Case, the detectives resorted to "no drugs today". When they need information out of a known drug dealer, they sit outside the dealer's place of - er - business and whenever customers show up, flash their badges and say "no drugs today" until the dealer is desperate enough for a sale to tell them what they know. They've done this in a previous episode and it cracks me up every time.

I might be at home and awake for more than 10 minutes this weekend so I will try to finally get my holiday pictures sorted out and up for public consumption. I have decided that I have some better pictures of coatis than any others I've found on the web.

I've been feeling a bit splat this week as well. I'm blamng the weather as its turned from dry but cold to wet but slightly milder.

The two days it was dark and rainy were really bad - the down side of having an office with lots of windows is I'm even more affected by the amount of light than I was in the old office.

It could just be the after effects of my holiday hitting me late. I did way too much and slept way too little, yet was absolutely fine when I got back, and was in massive sleep debt before I even went.

I also think I'm getting a cold.
