Have figured out why I was in such a foul mood yesterday - I have come down with a streaming head cold. Still sort of functional, though - fluey type viruses knock me right out, but with head colds I feel like a normal person with a miserable cold.

Stopped sneezing long enough to go see Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. If you liked the first one, you'll like this.

If the trailers are anything to go by, the summer's children's animated movies all involve nature kicking man's ass in highly improbable (but cute) ways, and a complete rip-off of Madagascar in which the animals don't even leave New York. I'll probably go see all of them.

There was like no one in the cinema tonight - did the world end & I missed it or something?

Just the theatee you were in or the whole place?
Since it's a children's film, maybe most of the families go on weekends or to the first showing of the evening.

I'd like to see Slither, but that would be for the totty.

The whole multiplex was dead. We've seen family films on Wednesdays before and it's never been that empty.

I'm hoping to see Inside Man and An American Haunting before they disappear.
