May. 5th, 2006 08:34 pmIt's possible to feel worse than I did yesterday. I know because I did all day today. :-(
I ran out of Beechams Cold & Flu tablets and took some Lemsip Sinus tablets instead. They seem to have helped a bit in that I'm still blowing my nose for England but my head no longer feels like it's going to explode, and my throat is considerably less sore. Unfortunately I've now taken the last of those, and the only thing left is some Sudafed product. Sudafed makes me feel awful, so hopefully I won't get desperate enough to try it. If my head is as pounding as it was again, I might decide that being wired in a bad way for 12 hours is worth it. We are also almost out of tissues. Thankfully, there is a pharmacy on the way to the local library.
Library? because:
The Terry Pratchett book I'm reading is not one of his better efforts (Lords and Ladies, in case anyone cares), and I think it's the last one in our collection that I haven't read. If I'm not feeling significantly better tomorrow I'm going to crawl to the local library and grab some trashy mysteries and thrillers. My brain is way too fuzzy to deal with any of the books I have waiting to read here.
