Upcoming Stuff 1 - Fantasycon

Are any of you going to Fantasycon?

I've never been to a con before, and it's something one should probably try once.

Plus, Clive Barker and Neil Gaiman! In the same place! I've never met Clive Barker and honestly never expeced to have the chance.

However, when you add in the cost of the hotel it's kind of a lot of money, especially if I'm going to end up wandering around by myself for two days. ("Hi Clive - I have no friends and drove 2 1/2 hours to see you. I'm not a creepy stalker, honest").

Driving up just for the Saturday is a possibility.

I didn't actually meet Clive Barker, but I heard him speak at the Festival of Fear last summer, and he's well worth hearing. And Neil Gaiman is always lovely. :)

I've met Neil a couple of times, both in Bristol, so I wouldn't travel somewhere out of my way to see him, but Neil + Clive is a different matter.
