Only I could do a weekend update and forget the most important thing - I'm not blonde any more! For variety's sake, I've chosen a medium chestnut shade with some red mixed in. I loved it Saturday, hated it Sunday and have been coming to terms with it since. Even though they put pigment over the bleached bits first, it's likely to be a big waste of lots of money as it's probably going to fade quite quickly. At least I can buy a box of dye from Boots and resurrect it myself now.

I put some books up on Amazon Marketplace. I doubt they'll sell (are all best sellers of which there's a gajillion other used copies for sale), but at least it's dead easy once you've created your account. It's not much, but it's a start at getting rid of the mountain of unwanted stuff from which I hope to make some cash.

Still quite unwell and being unbelievably stupid.

I leave you with news that Rogers Communications thought it had a deal with Aliant that was rock solid. But then Aliant changed its mind, and a comma in the contract let them do it. Now Rogers might pay dearly for that pesky punctuation. I know it's Rogers customers who will end up paying for the mistake, but it illustrates the important of a good understanding of grammar.

I've posted the comma thing to [livejournal.com profile] grammar_nazis, with a credit.

The hair sounds good. When I stopped dyeing mine blue and went back to brown, I found my bleached bits faded more quickly than the rest, but not too badly.
