General update

inulroI really hate it when the clocks go forward. You know how there's never enough hours in the day? Well today that was literally the case, and it wasn't even my fault for being generally crap like it usually is.
I've been indulging in some retail therapy lately. H&M is full of clothes with skulls on them. I was restrained and only bought the black top with pink skulls & crossbones. I may have to go back and get the white one with black as well. I also purchased a black leather handbag in the shape of a teapot (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

I had a lovely afternoon out in Bath yesterday. I thought my voucher for the spa expired at the end of the month, and arranged to go with Andrea (WINOLJ) yesterday. We had been meaning to go during the week but were both busy, and then I went back to work full time. Anyway, when we got there it was busier than usual for a Saturday and there was a two hour wait to get in. Which I could do, but she had dinner plans. She suggested that I try to trade in my coupon, at which point the lovely person on the door informed me that all their vouchers expire in 2008. I can read, honest. So we're going to go back one day in the week when we're not working. We spent a few hours wandering around in shops and stopping for regular cafe and pub breaks, so it was not at all a wasted journey.
Last night, Jason and I celebrated the fact that our car passed its MOT and did so well under budget[1] by having dinner at the Bristol Loch Fyne restaurant. More expensive than places we usually eat, but absolutely worth it. Excellent food and really good service. We will definitely be going back.
Other than that, same old, really. Which is by no means a bad thing, though if the universe could magic a few more hours out of every day I wouldn't complain.
