Aug. 9th, 2005 08:46 pmStill here. Felt almost human at lunch time when I went to the park to read. I'm still stiff as anything, and still limping because that (not) pulled muscle just won't get better, but there was some almost awake firing of the neurons today. Probably because the sun was out. I'm absolutely unimpressed just how much my physical health is tied to the weather. Being from somewhere that the weather is always shit, I was brought up not to let it stop you doing things.
I'm trying very hard not to wake up and discover that it's October, but I have no idea how to stop oneself losing time. I'm aware that the last two or three weeks has been a bit of a blur. I'm trying to keep a healthy (for me, in other words slug-like) balance between activity and resting.
It's my birthday on Sunday but I can't be bothered to plan anything, as there's a high probability I'll spend it power napping.
In the Not All Moaning department: Billie Morgan is an excellent, intense book. Go read it. Makes me miss Yorkshire. I always miss Yorkshire, but that's another story.
