Family film fest
Aug. 11th, 2005 08:34 pmLast night we took advantage of the Orange 2-for-1 thing and went to the early showing of Madagascar. Cheaper than cheap night, and far fewer people in the cinema. We will be doing this again. The movie was pretty good, though Jason liked it more than I did. The punch line about Tom Wolfe at Lincoln Centre was alone worth the price of admission.
Today our rental DVD arrived and it was the live-action Scooby-Doo. Yes, the one that was universally panned by the critics. I loved it. If there were all-inclusive resorts/amusement parks like Spooky Island, I would so be there. I *want* one of the glitter skulls.
Slowly recovering. I still arrived home and fell over today, but didn't spend the whole day concentrating really hard to stay upright, so this representa an improvement. Birthday celebrations are still on hold though.
