Dear Lazyweb
Jun. 5th, 2007 08:46 pmCan anyone enlighten me as to how long it takes to drive from Kendal to Glasgow, and then from Glasgow to Aberdeen? On a Sunday.
The plan was to visit Glasgow Necropolis and then Rosslyn Chapel and then go on to Aberdeen, but Rosslyn closes at 4:45 on a Sunday, so unless we get going seriously early in the morning that probably won't happen (unless there's a direct road from Glasgow to Roslin that Google Maps isn't telling me about).

Date: 2007-06-06 05:48 am (UTC)From city to city (Glasgow - Aberdeen) it takes just over 2 1/2 hours. Edinburgh to Aberdeen takes just over 2 hours. From the south of Aberdeen city through to here, it takes about another 40 minutes (20 minutes of that just getting around the city).
If you are travelling from Rossyln - I don't know if the Forth Road Bridge is still being worked on at the weekends. I think that has been causing some delay, but not sure how much.
