[Bristol] Music at St George's

inulroIn one of my recent forays into town, I picked up the programme for upcoming events at St George's.
There's all sorts of things I'd be interested in going to - if anybody fancies any of the classical stuff, let me know and I'll probably tag along. I'm particularly interested in:
a classical guitar performance on Sunday 7th October (£9);
Los Desterrados on Sunday 11th November. The advert reads:
Los Desterrados ('The Exiles') are taking the music world by storm with their own radical, rousing take on the Medieval folk music of the Sephardic Jews. As the Gypsy Kings reinvigorated flamenco and the Gotan Project tango so Los Desterrados have brought vibrant new life to Sephardic music. Fusing Spanish Flamenco and the fiery Gypsy melodies of the Balkans and Greece, with the rhythms of Morocco and Turkey, Los Desterrados have created a rootsy Mediterranean sound that is wholly their own.
Featuring traditional instruments such as the cajón and 'oud with vocals in Ladino, the language of the Sephardic Jews, or Hebrew, the unconventional arrangements Los Desterrados wield are heavily influenced by the music they've all grown up with - rock 'n' roll, jazz, folk, funk and soul. This is music with fire in its belly!
The latter sounds particularly intriguing, and also costs a whopping £9!
