Library resolution - you can all point & laugh now

I haven't even finished one of my own books, but I've reserved the new Ian Rankin and Kathy Reichs numbers from the library.

Having said that, there are respectively 88 and 72 people ahead of me in the queues, so I have a good chance of having cut down on the unread pile before either of those comes my way.

I've got a huge pile of books myself... still, at least I've started on Anno Dracula...

Better a massive backlog than absolutely nothing to read though. When I'm out of books it's terrible, I can't sleep, can't relax, it's amazing how important they are to me.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Not that it's likely to ever happen - on top of the huge unread pile, there's books I've been wanting to re-read since my undergraduate days but never got around to.
