66. The Sandman Companion by Hy Bender

Commentary on Sandman and big long interview with Neil Gaiman. Yes, I've sunk to the literary equivalent of watching the special features on DVDs. Shoot me now.

Having said that, it was interesting to find that the most popular Sandman story is "Ramadan", which I never thought much of, and the least popular is "A Game of You", which is my absolute favourite. I'm not sure what that says about me.

It's only been a couple of years since I re-read all of Sandman and now I'm stuck with a desire to do so again, and I certainly don't have that kind of time on my hands.

Since I now have the first Absolute Sandman, I'm re-reading it for the first time in a few years. I forgot about a few of the characters and really enjoy the larger format and improved colours.
