R.I.P. Jerry

inulroAs the title says. The Jerry bunny passed away last night. He started being quite listless and not eating anything except carrots and greens about a week ago, and yesterday he started to look seriously unhappy. I was afraid I'd have to take him on a one-way trip to the vet, but thankfully nature took its course and he passed away before he got too miserable. (Rabbits can be like rats, and become very ill and messed up indeed yet still hang on).
We have buried him out back. He chose a good day to go - today was the first time in weeks it hasn't been raining and blowing a gale.
He will be missed.
