So, on Tuesday I discovered that going back to my regular caffeine intake was a bit premature. Ow. I also still can't eat chocolate. I can, however, now eat just about everything else, and can have *some* caffeine, with only minor discomfort rather than screaming pain, so that's progress.
As soon as I got that under control I got hit by a stinking cold. Less bad than many of you have had, but it does mean that the last three weeks have completely not happened for me. How the hell did it get to be the 9th of March? I have sewing to do and weight to lose before the summer. Being able to think about things other than how to stay upright for the rest of the day would be kinda neat too.
You might think that having terrible digestive problems would at least involve weight loss, but it doesn't work that way. I may or may not lose weight on the days I can't eat, but on the days when I can I'm starving and eat everything in sight. Which can't be healthy and I'll probably come out of this even heavier than I went in, and if I'm not careful with some insulin issues to boot.
I haven't got a single interesting thing to share, unless you count that I finally saw Stardust at the weekend and it makes a far better film than it did a book. How often does that happen?
