inulroI took the day off on Friday and finally used my coupon for Thermae Bath Spa. Apologies to Bath-based folk for not getting in touch to meet up, but it was a last minute decision.
The spa is very pleasant, even though I'm really not good at the whole relaxation schtick. It would almost certainly have been more fun if I'd gone with someone else. I wasn't planning to go anywhere near the rooftop pool (it was not warm), but I did, and that was the best bit - the view from up there is spectacular.
I'm not convinced all that heat and humidity was good for me (I probably shouldn't have gone anywhere near the steam rooms) as I've been even more of a zombie than usual since then, but I was really struggling before I went.
In the "look what my life is reduced to" category, I am currently excited about the Channel 5 premiere of the new seasons of House and Grey's Anatomy on Thursday. I know there's no excuse for Grey's Anatomy, but I just can't stop. (*cough*Patrick Dempsey*cough*).
