Had one of those days where I nearly fell asleep with boredom this morning and then all hell broke loose this afternoon. All hell has been contained, I think, so hopefully I will not spend tomorrow hiding under my desk. (This is something I threaten to do frequently, but haven't actually been driven to yet).
Subspecies is on this Saturday. I will be there. I mean it this time. Really. Skipped the last Elvira's last week to rest up for it and everything.
Er - I hope. Summer rush starts at the shelter this week.
And why didn't I find out about this earlier? Not that I could have made it anyway.
Spent my lunch break reading the new Starvox Am kicking myself for missing Ikon, but I seem to recall there was a reason for that at the time. If nothing else, get yourselves to the Starvox site to read Uncle Nemesis' article on Wave Gothic Treffen. Prose to die for. When is that man going to write a book?
UK deathrock fans, do not read the "news" section. I have to keep reminding myself that if I lived somewhere that cool deathrock bands came through town frequently, I'd likely be too broke or too sick to ever get out and see them anyway.
Edit: After about 15 edits I've got my links working and spelling mostly ironed out. I suspect I'd best go to bed now.
